This has been confirmed, Pandemic Studios no longer exists.

Electronic Arts has no more or less kicked out 200 employees through an internal restructuring and re-entering the plan to dismiss 1,500 employees announced earlier by the giant.
"I want to be clear and Pandemic franchises continue to live," said Nick Earl, Senior Vice President of EA Games, in a memo. "In the coming months, we will announce our expectations for new games based on licenses for Pandemic. This type of change can be difficult. But the situation forces us to act decisively to take control of our destiny and be stronger, more focused on the development operation. Therefore we will continue to make good games in our studios in Los Angeles. It still seems that some employees have been reclassified in the studios of the firm.

Recall that Pandemic is causing great game like Battlezone, Star Wars: Battlefront and The Saboteur, however, planned for early December.
