Square Enix has released on the occasion of a press release, the sales figures of its games during the first half of its fiscal year (April 1 to September 30, 2009). We note first that Dragon Quest was a hit that Batman has followed that Kingdom Hearts has almost sold well, but Dissidia: Final Fantasy and Mini Ninjas have not lived up to expectations Square Enix.

Here are the numbers:
| Thurs | Console (s) | Ventes |
| Dragon Quest Ⅸ | DS | 4 000 000 |
| Batman: Arkham Asylum | PC - PS3 - XBOX 360 |
2 630 000 |
| Kingdom Hearts : 358/2 Days | DS | 1 220 000 |
| Dissidia : Final Fantasy |
PSP | 720 000 |
| Mini Ninjas |
PS3 - XBOX 360 - Wii - DS - PC |
600 000 |
We can also notice that Square Enix put a lot on the DS, with no fewer than three titles for Nintendo's handheld console, the five proposed. Contrary to this, the PSP has only one, Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Is this due to sales of Dissidia: Final Fantasy, which reaches "only" 720 000 sales?
