Ace's Notepad: A new type of virtual keyboard for PSP

[ Date:11/10/2009 11:07:15 ]   [ Font size:L M S ]

You all probably know, there are two keys to our beloved console. Firstly, there is the keyboard "official" one you use when you surf the Internet browser, or when you are in a formal application, so created by Sony. But there is also a keyboard "unofficial" one that was created by Danzeff. It is relatively convenient and works somewhat like the keyboard of a mobile phone. In this keyboard, a box containing four letters or four symbols you choose as buttons on the PSP. A 3x3 square contains all possible characters (knowing that you can switch to uppercase / lowercase by pressing a key in the homebrew).

Today may be a symbolic date for the virtual keyboard of the portable console. After the keyboard from Sony and Danzeff that of AceRaven will he used in our homebrew? This keyboard is meticulous and works as follows: there are two parts, one on the left and right. On the left side, a piece of the alphabet, brought together so many boxes. Each box contains 3 letters, which will be selected via buttons on the PSP. The left side is controlled by keys and the right side is controlled by the buttons. After selecting the "box", it remains to select the desired character among the three displayed (with the 3 buttons above or more).

Both parties operate the same way. In this application, three types of keyboards are available:

ABC mode: this is where you write your text with the letters of the alphabet

Fashion numbers: here are willing to figures from 0 to 9

Tank Mode: here are grouped the various characters

It is easy to change a profile, save the file being attached or open.
