 This is probably generating savings for Sony which avoids an unnecessary additional cost of printing. Moreover, as the fime Nippon no longer count on the media to communicate the imposition of the term by the UMD video is no longer necessary.

 Anyway, if this changes nothing for the user, it still shows though Sony does not seek any more to promote its UMD format. But this is no longer a surprise ...
