Luaplayer Euphoria v8: LUA interpreter evolves again

The developer Zack luaplayer Euphoria publishes a new version 8, which complement and enhance this interpreter LUA.

What luaplayer Euphoria?

Luaplayer Euphoria is a LUA interpreter developed by Zack. It is therefore an engine that can execute code LUA. The developers of this language must learn about the functions unique to the shell and they can post their homebrew files by joining those of luaplayer Euphoria. This interpreter is based on luaplayer v0.20 (developed by Shine).

What is he special? What are the differences with the luaplayer normal?

Euphoria is heavily optimized version of luaplayer capable of a tremendous speed. The lighter luaplayer still retains the ease of use and function names of all luaplayer LUA developers know by heart.

It can display images up to 100% faster than normal luaplayer, read them once they are loaded.

Euphoria also supports MP3. This is done by the main processor, but it is optimized mp3player. It can also play OGG files.

Especially the low overhead that is interesting with this Lua interpreter which allows to leave the free space in RAM.
