The Homepage Portal: the portal was released in final version

The developer JLmike7 publishes the latest version of its portal The Portal homepage. The portal has evolved considerably since its first version, which showed just a Google search bar and the favorites saved in the PSP.

What is a portal?

A portal is a web page that is displayed with the browser of the PSP, which includes flash games, videos, utilities, codes, wallpapers ... The content varies depending on the portal. The portals centralize icons by subject for easy access.

To use the portals, you must activate the Flash Player with Wi-Fi if you have a firmware higher than 2.80. With custom firmware, you can activate it via the Recovery Menu.The Homepage Portal, as its name suggests, a portal has been created to replace the home page of your PSP browser. The portal home displays a screen variable, the date and a menu bar. It is possible by navigating the portal to display the favorite sites of the PSP, to use various web applications (calculator, calendar, periodic table of elements ...) and games (Snake, Hanoi Towers, Bow Man ...). A page with several links to interesting sites (MSN, Playstation Blog, ...) and another to download multiple portals developed for the PSP. It is also possible to perform multiple searches, via the menu bar for Google, or through a special page for Wikipedia, Yahoo, etc. ..

JLmike7 thank all visitors to its portal and all who have contributed their ideas to the project, and announced that The Homepage Portal is now open source and it encourages people to spread it on different servers.
