[archive update] Colditz Escape - the game finally Amiga PSP

A little history:

Colditz Castle is located in the town of Colditz near Leipzig.

Built under Henri IV, the castle was later used as a psychiatric hospital for nearly a hundred years.

It was during WWII that the Germans have transformed the fortress into a prison camp for Allied officers.

Despite having a reputation as a place where no one escapes the fortress still complained about thirty escapes. Historical facts which first spawned a television series in 1971, then twenty years later, to video game inspired by these events.

Colditz escape is nothing other than the port of the game "Escape from Colditz" released on Amiga in 1991.

This game action-adventure 3D isometric puts you in the shoes of four prisoners attempting to escape from the fortress from which no escape (in theory). The player must juggle four characters to step through the castle in search of material or documents which allow them to take to their heels. The journey will not be any rest since he will use tricks to avoid being caught by a guard in an area where you have no right to be. In case of interception by the enemy, is the direction of the cell that the character will take. It will then use another prisoner to go to the rescue of the unfortunate companion.

The AMIGA game engine has been reprogrammed to be playable on the PSP, but a Windows version is also available.
